Harney and Sons Fine Teas & More!

Writer: hudsonvalleyadventurerhudsonvalleyadventurer

Tea, food, and a cute little shop. Harney and Sons in Millerton, NY is a must visit for any tea lover!

A photo of the back of the bar located in the cafe.

Other than being located in the beautiful Hudson Valley, Harney and Sons is a personal favorite brand of tea, offering many different varieties! After a visit I dream about their Tea Cheese Sampler for weeks!

For those who make the trip to the Millerton store, other fun things to do in town include the Harlem Valley Rail Trail, as well as Meta44, which is an absolutely lovely home decor shop. Check them out at https://www.meta44.com/

Millerton, NY is located close to the boarders of both CT and MA If you wish to venture a bit further and into Massachusetts, Bash Bish Falls is a short 19 minute drive from Harney and Sons.

If you drove a while to get to Harney and Sons, and all of the above isn't enough, another fun spot to check out is Dover Stone Church, located in Dover Plains, NY. Just a 22 minute drive from Harney and Sons. (That would make it a 41 minute drive from Bash Bish Falls)

A Beautiful cave with a waterfall inside. A much less strenuous hike than Bash Bish. Dover Stone Church is a loved location for many reasons! (photographers love it!) Be aware that it can get muddy and make reaching the cave a but difficult! Make sure to always have to proper footwear and clothing when going on hikes, no matter how short!

I will be adding posts specifically for both Bash Bish Falls and Dover Stone Church in the future! With more pictures and information on both locations.

I hope you enjoyed my first post! Please follow my instagram and twitter for more subtle updates on places to visit!
